Radio is all about antennas! A good antenna makes all the difference between hearing the conversation or not and being heard or not!
Here are just some of the antennas we currently use:

Backyard Tripod Antenna Base:
Ambient Weather EZ-NPP Tripod and Mast Assembly with Platform

This is the base we use in the backyard!
Cinder blocks are a perfect fit to add weight.

Mast Extension Tubing:

These are the good five (5) foot mast extension tubes.
Don’t go too high! Only add/use two (2) per tripod.
